More than unboxing

A working setup starts
with the right plan.

You buy the equipment. Benitez handles the agreed installation. Before you order, let’s check whether the mower and your lawn belong together.

01

Check the lawn first.

We review grass area, slopes, trees, access, power and the exact mower. The right fit comes before the purchase.

02

Set up every area.

Place the dock and required positioning hardware, map the mowing zones and exclusions, and configure the schedule.

03

Test it. Learn it.

Check mowing and return-to-dock behavior, pair your app and walk you through everyday operation and basic care.

04

Know what comes next.

One setup check-in is included. Workmanship coverage, product support and later service visits have clear boundaries.

Start with your property

Which mower
could fit your lawn?

Start typing your address to find public property details. Review the prefilled lot size, adjust it to the grass you actually mow, and tell us about the layout. Every answer stays editable.

01

Tell us about your lawn.

No signup. Get a starting point in a minute.

Suggestions use public county GIS and OpenStreetMap via Photon. Typed address searches are shared with these lookup providers. Lot size is available for New Castle and Delaware County parcels; Chester suggestions supply addresses only. You can enter everything manually.

Count the grass to be cut. Leave out the house, driveway, beds and woods.

Slope is a percentage, not degrees: 1 foot of rise over 4 feet of horizontal run is 25%. If unsure, choose “Not sure.”

Address searches go to the lookup providers described above. Your lawn answers stay in this page until you send a visit request. Slope, tree cover, routes and hazards need your review; parcel data does not supply these.

A mower that fits your lawn

A little detail.
A better starting point.

We compare your lawn area, terrain, cutting height and layout with the exact models below.

  • Published capacity and height limits
  • Navigation and layout considerations
  • A starting installation budget

The final choice follows a property assessment. We’ll say so when these options don’t fit.

A considered shortlist

Meet the
mower options.

Three exact models to explore, with different capacities and navigation systems. Each needs a lawn assessment. Mower cost is separate from installation.

LUBA mini 2 AWD 1500H

Compact lawns · high cut · AWD

A compact, high-cut option for smaller lawns, with all-wheel drive and navigation that uses LiDAR and cameras.

Published area
Up to 0.37 acre
Cutting height
2.2–4 in
Published slope limit
80%
Full description & setup details

The 1500H is the high-cut version, adjustable from 2.2 to 4 inches and rated for up to 0.37 acre of mowable lawn. Its 360° LiDAR and dual-camera vision create virtual boundaries without a perimeter wire or external RTK antenna. App-based mapping supports multiple mowing zones and connecting paths.

What the setup involves

We assess the lawn and connecting routes, place the charging station, map the work areas and exclusions, set the schedule and height, and test mowing and docking.

What to check first

AWD can help with traction, but the published 80% maximum slope is a screening limit, not approval for a particular hill or lawn edge. Drop-offs, wet ground and narrow passages need an on-site review. Trimming is still needed along some walls and borders.

Order direct or check retailer availability. Select the exact 1500H high-cut version; the standard-cut model has different height limits.

Full description & setup details

The 410 iQ cuts from 1 to 4 inches and uses Husqvarna EPOS positioning with an included reference station, or compatible cloud positioning where supported. Radar assists with obstacle detection. The 0.5-acre capacity applies to systematic mowing; the irregular mowing rating is 0.25 acre.

What the setup involves

We check satellite visibility and reference-station placement, establish the dock and virtual boundaries, set mowing zones and patterns, pair the app, and test the return route.

What to check first

Tree cover and buildings can affect satellite reception. Its published slope limits differ: 45% inside the mowing area and 15% at the boundary. A site assessment is essential near slopes, water or drop-offs. Any physical-wire work is quoted separately.

Check manufacturer, dealer or retailer availability. Included hardware and positioning coverage must be confirmed for the exact purchase.

Mammotion

LUBA 2 AWD 3000HX

Larger lawns · high cut · AWD

A larger high-cut mower with all-wheel drive, dual cutting discs and a three-quarter-acre published capacity.

Published area
Up to 0.75 acre
Cutting height
2.2–4 in
Published slope limit
80%
Full description & setup details

The 3000HX is rated for up to 0.75 acre and adjusts from 2.2 to 4 inches. It combines RTK satellite positioning with UltraSense vision and uses a local reference station for positioning. Its roughly 15.7-inch cutting width suits larger mowing areas than the compact model. The 3000HX is a distinct capacity variant of the LUBA 2 high-cut range.

What the setup involves

We assess positioning coverage, locate the reference and charging stations, map the lawn and safe connecting routes, configure the app, and test the zones and docking.

What to check first

This is a previous-generation model. Confirm remaining stock, included hardware and seller warranty support before buying. Vision assistance does not remove the need to assess positioning coverage. The advertised 80% slope limit does not establish safe use at every edge.

An exact 3000HX listing is available at Home Depot. Direct manufacturer stock was unavailable when checked; retailer stock and delivery must be checked before purchase.

Before you buy

A few good
questions.

We want you to know what you’re purchasing, what we’re installing and how support works.

Can you install a mower I bought somewhere else?

Yes. Send us the exact model before booking. We review the mower, required components and lawn fit first. Buying from Lowe’s, Home Depot, a manufacturer or a dealer does not automatically mean a particular model will suit your property.

What does the address lookup prefill?

Choose an address suggestion to prefill available public property details. New Castle and Delaware County parcel matches can supply total lot size and a parcel number; Chester suggestions supply addresses only. Every field is editable. The whole lot includes buildings, paving, beds and woods, so review and adjust the prefilled area to the grass you mow before confirming it. Slope, tree cover, access and hazards still need your answers. This guide does not measure grass from satellite imagery or verify navigation signals.

What is included in the installation price?

The guide price covers an agreed wire-free setup using an existing suitable power outlet: dock placement, included positioning hardware within accessible agreed locations, lawn mapping, exclusions, app pairing, schedule settings, a functional test and an owner walkthrough. One scheduled setup check-in of up to 15 minutes is included. The written estimate defines the actual work.

What happens if the mower stops working?

We start by asking for the error message and what changed. Installation mistakes reported within our 30-day workmanship coverage are corrected at no labor charge. Hardware faults and manufacturer software or cloud-service issues go through the seller or manufacturer. Optional diagnostic work, warranty assistance and later changes are quoted separately before billable work begins.

What does the 30-day workmanship coverage include?

It covers mistakes in the installation and configuration we performed. It does not include wear, damaged equipment or wires, changed yard layouts, moved docks or antennas, customer setting changes, or product and third-party service failures. If an agreed paid diagnostic reveals a covered installation mistake, that diagnostic charge is waived.

Will a robot mower replace every part of lawn maintenance?

It handles routine mowing within suitable mapped areas. Trimming, edging, leaf cleanup, seasonal care and some inaccessible grass areas can still need attention. Benitez can quote that work separately.

Do you handle boundary-wire installations or larger lawns?

These guide packages focus on wire-free residential setups. Boundary-wire work, larger areas, electrical changes, tall mounts, crossings and unusual layouts need a separate assessment and written quote. New outlet work is outside the standard package.

Are these manufacturer-certified recommendations?

This is an independent Benitez Landscaping screening guide based on published specifications and the details you enter. It is not manufacturer certification, a purchase guarantee or a substitute for an on-site assessment. The mower brands are independent of Benitez Landscaping.
